The University of Palermo, in Buenos Aires, will host the Basque Studies conference “Buenos Aires 2012”
The Argentinean entities Centro de Estudios Arturo Campion and the Basque Summer University have opened a call to researchers and scholars in Basque studies in its most diverse manifestations to participate in this year’s Basque Studies conference “Buenos Aires 2012,” that will take place at the University of Palermo, in Buenos Aires, on August 24-25, 2012. The goal is to debate the proposed themes as well as disseminate the information to the community in general. Proposals may be submitted until July 6.

The Centro de Estudios Arturo Campion and the Basque Summer University have opened a call to researchers and scholars in Basque studies to participate in this year’s Basque Studies Conference whose aim is “to debate the proposed themes among the participating researchers and to promote the study, improvement and updating of these themes.” The event will take place on August 24-25 at the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires.
Anyone who would like to participate and present a paper should send their proposals to the evaluating committee whose decision is final. Abstracts should be sent in Spanish and should not exceed 200 words, and the submission deadline is July 6, 2012. Subsequently, the complete paper should be created in Word, Arial font, size 11, single spaced with 2.5 margins. Citations should be as footnotes and the bibliography at the end. The cover page should include the title, author’s full name and email. Messages should not exceed 3,000 words and a copy of the work should be sent via email as well as another printed.
Deadline to submit final work is August 3, 2012.
