Pilar, Argentina.  Even if the date of the foundation of the Pilar Basque club, in the north of the province of Buenos Aires, is June 10^th, the festivities had to be postponed as to not coincide with other community events already planned on that day.

The anniversary lunch will be held on August 3rd at 12:30pm and will take place at the Club Atletico Pilar – where the club usually holds its event, located at Ituzaingo 759.

Attendees will be welcomed by the club president, Angel Urriticoechea, and during lunch images of the Basque Country will be projected.

Cost of the event is $130 (beverage not included) and RSVPs are requested with ample time at: idiametchart@hotmail.com.

Besides extending this invitation, the club also let us know that its Euskera classes will continue after winter break on Friday’s from 4-6pm.
