Thierry Biscary, Xan Errotabehere and Jamixel Bereau, the three members of Kalakan will visit the US between September 26 and October 14 in a tour that will run a little more than two weeks starting in Boise, on September 27, and ending on October 13 at the Euzko Etxea Centennial Gala in New York, with other stops in Mountain Home and Boise, ID, Ontario, OR, Reno, NV, San Francisco, Bakersfield and Chino, CA and New York.

Reno, NV. Kalakan had to postpone their US and Quebec tour last year due to becoming a part of the MDNA Madonna World Tour with whom they shared the stage, visited the world and gained media notoriety in an experience that will be hard to duplicate in their career. The group from Lapurdi played the txalaparta and sang various parts of the show. Now, that tour finished, they are able to pick up their previous projects including a visit and tour of various US Euskal Etxeak.

The tour will begin on September 27 in Idaho, the day after they land. On that Friday they will visit Bishop Kelly High School and will also hold a workshop with members of the Txantxangorriak in Boise. Here is the schedule of their US 2013 tour:

September 26, Thursday

-Boise, Idaho - arriving to the US

September 27, Friday

-Boise, Idaho - visit to Bishopr Kelly High School and workshop with Boisean Txantxangorriak Basque musical group

September 28, Saturday

-Mountain Home, Idaho - Club potluck then to play from 6-8pm at the Little Carnas Inn at a fundraiser to support those affected by recent fires that have devastated that area

September 29, Sunday

-Ontario, Oregon - San Miguel Txiki celebration at Moore Park (Oregon & SW 1st Ave). Festivities begin at 1:30pm with Kalakan concert at 5pm

September 30, Monday

-Boise, Idaho - Boise State University – Main Quad – open house from 10am-noon

October 1, Tuesday

-Travel to Reno, NV

October 2, Wednesday

-Reno, Nevada - Concert at UNR's Nightingale Hall – 7-9pm

October 3, Thursday

-Travel to San Francisco, CA

October 4, Friday

-San Francisco, California - Dinner/Concert in South San Francisco at the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center from 8 to 10pm

October 5, Saturday

-Bakersfield, California – Concert at the Kern County Basque Club (2301 South Union Ave.) 6:30pm – gathering and concert to follow at 8pm.

October 6, Sunday

-Chino, California - Lunch performance at the Chino Basque Club

October 9, Sunday

-Travel to NYC

October 11, Friday

-Brooklyn, NY - concert at Eusko Etxea of NY (307 Eckford Street) at 7pm

October 13, Sunday

-New York, NY – Performance at the Centennial Gala at the Midtown Loft (267 Fifth Avenue) at 9pm

October 14, Monday

-Travel home to the Basque Country
