Born on April 25, 1947 and raised in San Francisco, he passed away on January 10, 2017 in Santa Rosa.
He is survived by his brother, Rodrick; his son, Marcus (age 31); his daughter-in-law, Shauna and his two granddaughters, Alice (age 7) and Lyra (age 4).
Marcus was educated at the University of San Francisco. He enjoyed a career as a corporate mediator and was co-owner/operator of Stonecroft Farm & Sonoma Honey Company.
A member of Business Network International and B.N.I.T, Marcus was Past Master of Mt. Jackson Lodge #295, F.&A.M., Adult Advisor of the Order of DeMolay, former member of Aahmes Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., the Sonoma County Shrine Club, the Sonoma County Shrine Purveyors, the Knights of Columbus Council 9090 3rd degree and Assembly 61, 4th degree Knight, as well as serving as a RCIA Catechist and Cursillo team leader.
He was proud to be a Basque/Spaniard.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses, 1225 Sonoma Avenue, Santa Rosa.
