Rachel Watson. “We knew we were excited about the concept of Zoko 822, but the amount of interest we’ve already seen from the community is exceptional,” said Geoff Gaskin, president, CDKI Dining. “We look forward to opening our doors this December and welcoming everyone into our new home.”

The restaurant will offer small plates inspired by the flavors of northern Spain and southern France.

It will also serve more than 30 varieties of gin, as well as beer, wine and liquor.

Zoko 822 will be open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and brunch and dinner on Sundays.

The restaurant will feature bar seating, community tables and traditional seating.

It will sell grab-and-go lunch foods during the day at a “Bodega Bar” — including sandwiches, empanadas and salads, as well as perishables and non-perishables, such as milk, eggs, cheese, canned meats, herbs and spices — and takeout dinner dishes in the evening.

Ryan Martin, former executive chef at the Winchester and former head chef at Osteria Rossa, will be the executive chef.

Megan McAllister, formerly of Osteria Rossa and the Amway Grand Plaza, will serve as general manager.
