Our beloved Judy passed away on December 14, 2016 at her home in Bakersfield.  Judy is survived by her husband of 48 years Guillaume Etchechury, son Michael Etchechury (Amy), mother Leah Busch, brother Steve Busch (Patsy), and sister Sue McMackin (Rob).  She was born in Santa Ana, California and grew up in Lone Pine California.  She graduated from Garces High School and attended Bakersfield Junior College.  She worked for the Kern County Sheriff's Department, then as a teacher's aide at Rosedale North Grammar School.  She worked as a Registrar at Highland High School for 25 years until she retired.

Judy will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and mother.  She was a devout Catholic and a virtuous person.  She was very generous and loving to her parents in their senior years. She had a passion for horses, was an accomplished toll and oil painter and loved arts and crafts, shopping, traveling, decorating and spending time with friends and family. She was always the organizer for family and friends events.
