My Beloved Juantxo left us last Wednesday. He passed quickly with a smile on his face. The emptiness that he has left is unimaginable. I'm thankful for 59 years with this wonderful man. I'm thankful for wonderful friends and family in my life to help ease the pain.

Juan A. Ruiz was born in Zubiri, Navarra, Spain on April 2, 1935. He immigrated to the U.S. on November 11, 1952 and peacefully left us on November 7, 2018 at home in Los Banos, CA.

He is survived by the love of his life for 59 years, Jovita. He will be missed by his son Peter and wife Kim, his Daughter Elena, his Grandchildren Kameron, Powell , Karter, Madison, and Karoline. Also, his sisters Celes and Juanita and their families in Spain. 

He will be remembered for his jovial spirit, huge heart, his unconditional love, and incredible strength of character. 

All who knew him still see him with his bright blue eyes, big smile, and those pearly whites. 

He lived life simply and enjoyed being in the moment. He was a backbone of strength and determination that his family and friends knew they could always count on.
