Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Hammer, 80, of Caldwell, passed away, Monday, April 16, 2018. 

Bobbie was born in Caldwell, Idaho to Clifford and Lema Kellogg Feltwell on March 15, 1938. 

They moved to Jordan Valley, Oregon in 1943 with her sister June Marie. Her dad had ranched and was born in the Jordan Valley area. Bobbie attended a one room school in Pleasant Valley, riding horseback with her sister, 5 miles daily. She attended high school at Jordan Valley where she graduated in 1955. 

Bobbie married her high school sweetheart, Darol Cline in November of 1955. They moved to Reno, Nevada where they lived for 18 years. To their marriage they were blessed with two sons, Todd Darrell and Brett Clifford. Bobbie and the boys moved to Alaska after a divorce in 1973. She married Gary V. Moran and they raised Todd and Brett in Skagway, Alaska.

Moving back to Jordan Valley in 1982, they opened the Old Basque Inn formerly known as the Old Madriaga Hotel. 

Both boys graduated from Jordan Valley High School. Bobbie was an entrepreneur with over 10 businesses to her credit. She bought and ran the family ranch on Owl Creek for 12 years and flew her own plane for 7 years.

In 1998 she married Leon Hammer and they spent their retirement dancing and laughing from Texas to Alaska.

Bobbie is survived by her two sons, Todd and Brett Cline; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and two special nieces, Laura Harriman and Robin Henry. She was preceded in death by Leon Hammer and Gary V. Moran. 

There will be a celebration of life and viewing at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, ID on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. Everyone who knew this special lady is welcome to attend. Condolences may be given at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
