Con inicio la noche del 19 de enero, víspera del día de San Sebastián, "Txotx, Basque weekend" en el restaurante Camerata at Paulie's (Paulie's suma tres bares), que convoca a esta cita para mostrar y educar a los clientes locales (pocos vascos hay en la ciudad, pero están radicalmente invitados) en las tradiciones vascas en torno a la sidra, en este fin de semana largo (de jueves a domingo) que han bautizado como Txotx, siguiendo los rituales vascos del sagardoa (sidra).

Este es el programa de los cuatro días (ver más abajo el link):

• Jueves: 10 p.m.: For $15, participate solo or with a guest in a Porrón pouring competition where contestants will be scored based on the challenge and creativity of their pour as well as their execution. Attendees can apply solo or as a two-person team. Participants will also receive a 50% discount on Isastegi at Camerata prior to the competition as practice
• Sábado: January 21, 1PM: For $50, attend an educational seminar on Basque beverages led by Camerata’s General Manager, Chris Poldoian where guests will learn about the unique traditions and viticultural characteristics of the Basque region as they taste through over ten different sidra and wines
• A lo largo de los cuatro días: The festivities will carry on through the weekend and expand to other local Houston bars, Public Services and 13º Celsius. All three bars will be serving sidra, txakoli and wines from Rioja Alavesa. Camerata will be supplementing their menu with traditional pintxos and offer curated flights of sidra and wine
