Txantxangorriak Triki Tixa Group
Txantxagorriak began on April 2, 2001. Their first performance was at Boise's San Inazio festival in July of that year. Besides playing Fandangos and Arin-arins they also performed Boisean Basque traditional tunes like "Aeroplano bi pasata" and "Beti eskamak Kentzen" for which they received very warm applause. Today their repertoire includes many traditional & modern songs. Ana Mendiola is the group's manager. Dan Ansotegui teaches the trikitixa or Basque diatonic accordion.
