Born in 1963 Jean Flesher has moved in music circles all his life. He began in Salt Lake City, and after spending about 10 years in San Francisco he returned to Utah. He has played practically every Basque picnic there is in the States. Along with his group he plays traditional Basque-American music with some different modern touches here and there. Waltzes, jotas and fandangos with arin-arins, mutxikoak, and kalejiras as well as a number of other dancing tunes make up their repertoire. Jean along with Basque and English also speaks French and Spanish.
