Born in the Basque town of Iruzubieta, Bizkaia, Gema Aurre has run this place for decades. Casa Vasca serves traditional home style Basque coastal food, that means that they have a extended fish selection, including fishes and dishes like Whiting Basque Style, red snapper, flounder, monk fish, cod several styles, fish paella, shellfish, schrimp, lobster... and also veal several styles, filet mignon, Surg & Sturf, tripes, kidneys, pork or veal chops, rice and chicken, omelettes several styles. For dessert, flan, orange cake and others, and expresso. The wines include several from Rioja and Arabako Errioxa as well as Californian wines and sangria. Appetizers include clams in Green Sauce and in other styles, Garlic or Grilled Schrimp, Mussels, Grilled Chorizo or Stuffed Mushrooms.
