Rock Springs, WY, USA. Mikaela is coming from Arizona State University, where she is studying Music Education with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture to perform a couple of songs as a part Opera Wyoming’s “A Night at the Opera" on March 9 at The Broadway Theater. She will perform "Loretxoa" by Benito Lertxundi, and "Nuit d'Etoiles" by Debussy. A Rock Springs native, she is member of the local Alkartasuna Basque Club and the daughter of Martin and Ronnie Goicoechea.

Mikaela Goicoechea is a 2017 honors graduate of Rock Springs High School. Throughout her time in high school, Mikaela participated in multiple All-National, All-Northwest, and All-State Honor Choirs and studied Contemporary Vocal Styles at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s High School Performing Arts Summer Conservatory in 2016 in New York City.
