Neuquén, Argentina. “The Basque people has been a mute people, and has known how to do great things, but not relate them…until now.” With this promising presentation the new radio project by the Comahue Basque Club, in the Patagonian province of Neuquen, will begin. “Between Basques,” is coordinated by the club’s president, Manu Molina along with Mariela Guardia, Sebastian Inzunza and Ingrid Breener.  It will also include the participation of three columnists, Dr. Felix Mugurutza; journalist Nahikari Cayado Mallea; and Chef Martín Sarlo. In the case of Mugurutza and Cayado, being from Laudio and Durango respectively, both in the Basque Country,  their participation will be recorded due to the time difference between Argentina and Euskal Herria.

“Between Basques” will air every Wednesday at 10pm on Radio Megafon, an online broadcaster that can be accessed here: www.radiomegafon.com.ar. As Molina explained to EuskalKultura.com, “having two hours allows us to expand and develop different topics; what’s more, we will dedicate about twenty minutes per program to the Union of Collectivities in Neuquen, that will feature the Brazilian community on today’s program.

Follow “Voices of a Noble Land”

The Basque club also told us about the other radio program that it is hosting “Voices of a Noble Land,” that will continue at its normal hour, Saturdays from 2-3pm on FM 85.5 Capital.
