The Federation of Basque Clubs in Venezuela organized the 3rd Days of Basque-Venezuelan Fraternization

The Federation of Basque clubs invites members of clubs across the country to participate in the Third Says of Basque-Venezuelan Fraternization that will take place in two weeks on November 24-26 in Chichiriviche, Falcon State.  The event runs the entire weekend, Friday to Sunday.  Eligible participants have to be current members of a Basque club, as indicated in the Jazoera newsletter. 

Caracas, Venezuela.   The Federation of Venezuelan Basque Clubs, headquartered at the Naguanagua-Valencia Basque Club in Carabobo, invites members of its Basque clubs to participate in the Third Days of Basque-Venezuelan Fraternization that will take place November 24-26, 2017.

The program includes a talk on the 24th entitled “Introduction to the Origins of the Basques in Venezuela: Cristobal de Agerre, Pedro de Terreros and Juan de Lakotza the Bizkaino,” a visit on Saturday to Cayo Muerto where Juan de Lakotza was probably buried, the first to write the name of Venezuela and the event will conclude on Sunday.

The meeting point will be at the Eusko Etxea in Valencia, with lodging at the Hotel Spa Coral Suites in Chichiriviche, including transportation to Chichiriviche, three days two nights at the five-star hotel, meals, outing to the nearby cayo, cocktail and return trip to Valencia.  Cost of the weekend is one hundred thousand Bolivars per person.

Participants need to be older than 18 years old and be current members of their Basque club.  Club members from Caracas need to communicate with the club’s secretary or president, Kattalin Alaba about transportation to Valencia.
