Euskal Argentina will hold its 2015 General Assembly on March 28th in Donibane Garazi.  Besides evaluating its activities and finances, those gathered will also review the successful trip to Chile-Argentina and future plans like a meeting of entities related to Argentina, the Nantes archive, and Semana Vasca 2015 in Macachin.  To conclude the meeting, a book on Argentina will be presented by Gaby Etchebarne. 

Donibane Garazi, Lower Navarre.   The Euskal Argentina Association will hold its annual General Assembly tomorrow at 9:30 at the town hall in Donibane Garazi.  All members, friends and collaborators are invited to attend as reported to EuskalKultura.com by president Monika Legarto.

The meeting agenda follows:

1.  General evaluation of last year

2.  Report and Review of last year’s trip to Chile-Argentina, extraordinary welcome and contacts

3.  Presentation of a book on Argentina by Gaby Etchebarne

4.  Projects:

• Celebration next September in Semeac (near Tarbes) of a meeting of entities and associations relating to Argentina (organized by EA in 2013)
• Results of the research done in the “Diplomatic Archives in Nantes,” whose conclusion is expected this year.
• Screening on May 23 in Uztaritze of the film El Vasco de la Carretilla with the participation of folks from Chacabuco, Argentina: Luis Aramburu (El Mundo Vasco), Carlos Chinchurreta and Sr. Zabaleta.
• Semana Vasca 2015 in Macachin

After the meeting there will be an aperitif and later those gathered will enjoy a traditional meal in Donazaharre.
