The Etxepare Basque Institute has opened a new call to select a lecturer for the Freie University in Berlin, Germany for the 2015-16 academic year that may be extended to 2016-17. The deadline to apply is February 20, 2016.

Donostia-San Sebastian.   The Etxepare Basque Institute is looking for a Basque language and culture lecturer for the Freie University in Berlin that will teach classes during the 2015-16 academic year, with the option of extending it to 2016-17.

According to the Institute, the requirements to apply include:

Hold a degree and the PL3 or equivalent in Euskera and be accredited with a level B2 in German.  Points will also be given for degrees in Basque philology, Basque studies or in translation and interpretation (Language A: Euskera) as well as an accreditation PL4 in Euskera.

The contract’s term is two years according to the local legislation.  This is considered a part-time job.
