-Barcelona, Spain, March 21.  The Barcelona Euskal Etxea is one of the clubs who has been organizing Korrika events the longest.  This year they have once again prepared an intense program for the celebration.  The race or Korricursa, as it is called mixing Basque and Catalan, will run through the city.  Following there will be dinner and a concert at the Born.

Cancun, Mexico, March 21.  This year, Korrika will arrive in Cancun for the first time, and besides supporting Basque, it will also support the Mayan language.  The event was organized by various cultural agencies in the city, include a group of Basques.  The race will start at the local pier.
