The Denak Bat Basque Club in Mar del Plata invites everyone to its summer Jaialdi; the Beti Alai dantzaris performed in Villa Victoria

Mar del Plata, Argentina. The 'Jaialdi' is a gastronomic, musical and dance festival organized by the Denak Bat Basque Club in Mar del Plata every summer.  The event is open to the public and hopes to share with the locals as well as tourists.  This year’s event includes the participation of musicians who will be attending the first Musician Gathering organized on the same day and place by FEVA.  The festival is Saturday, February 16 beginning at 9pm.  More information by emailing: denakbatmardelplata@gmail.com.

The local Basque club also announced that its club dancers, Beti Alai, performed on January 29th in the town of Villa Victoria as part of its Night of Collectivities celebration. The dancers performed classics like “Ezpata Dantza,” “Fandango,” and “Arin Arin.”
