Los Toldos, Argentina. Los Toldos celebrated its 2019 Cheese Festival and even if the local Basque club is at an impasse, the nearby clubs and food businesses filled the third edition of the event with the colors and flavors of the Basque Country, March 30-31. The dance group from the Guillermo Larregui Basque Club in Chacabuco, participated for the third year in a row at the event, not only with a dance performance including AgurraIngurutxoNeskatxena and Viva Navarra, but also with a Kalejira that included many members of the audience.

Basque dance wasn’t only provided by the dantzaris from Chacabuco, but as a reflection of the important Basque imprint in the area, girls from the Huilen Native Dance district, led by Professor Viviana Pastorino, also performed “Arco de Flores.”

In regards to food offerings, the “La Vasca” company once again provided its homemade products.  The Luberriaga family, owners of “La Vasca,” also provided a beautiful frame so attendees could take pictures.
