The Basque Government resolves the call for 2017 aid for people in the Diaspora in situations of extreme need

There were 111 individuals who benefited at 16 euskal etxeas in six countries: Argentina (15), Chile (19), Cuba (63), United Kingdom (1), Uruguay (1) and Venezuela (12). The “Program of Economic Benefits to Basque Centers to Address Needs and Assist those Person belonging to Basque Communities Abroad in Situations of Extreme Need,” in 2017 had a budget of 202,000 Euros.  The Official Bulletin published on Friday included the Resolution by the Director of the Basque Community Abroad. 

Vitoria-Gasteiz.  The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (BOPV-EHAA) published last Friday, January 19th included the Resolution of December 21, 2017 by the Director of the Basque Communities Abroad, awarding economic benefits to Basque club to meet the healthcare needs of individuals in situations of extreme need for people belong to Basque communities abroad.

The Resolution published in its annex I is in relation to applications that were excluded and the reason for such.  Annex II includes the awards made including the clubs and individuals who received them.

Over all 111 individuals benefited by the grants at 16 euskal etxeas in six countries: Argentina (15), Chile (19), Cuba (63), United Kingdom (1), Uruguay (1) and Venezuela (12).
