The “Atahualpa Yupanqui” Basque Library in Corpus Christi launches its “Humorous Stories” literary contest

Corpus Christi, Argentina. The  “Atahualpa Yupanqui” library at the Corpus Christi Basque Club in the Argentine province of Misiones, has invited everyone to participate in its annual international literary contest. This year, however, there is a change in the theme and this year they are seeking “anecdotes and humorous stories.”  Writers can present in Spanish or Euskera and five stories will be awarded in each language with a book and a certificate.  There will also be special mentions.

Submission should be in Word on A4 paper using Arial 12 font spaced 1.5.  Each author can submit up to two works via email to relasombroso5@gmail.com. (Complete rules are also available by writing to this email).

Prizes will be awarded at the “Atahualpa Yupanqui” Basque Library on Saturday July 27th as part of the 2019 Basque-Argentine Cultural Festival.  Forming the organizing committee are Ana M. Macchi, Francisco J. Chamorro, Ramona M. Melgarejo de Casco and Olga Leiciaga.
