Eresbil, the Basque National Music Archive, continues to increase their holdings year after year, currently offering access to around 210,000 musical documents including sheet music, recordings, books, and studies. Eresbil makes all of this available through its website to musicians, singers, music fans, and researchers who request it. There are many choirs and music groups from the Diaspora who have already taken advantage of this service, especially from the US, where the majority of requests have come from.

Donostia-San Sebastian.  The Basque Music Archive has provided data on the volume of information and documents that it handles that already numbers nearly 210,000 documents in different formats.  During 2011, the Archive grew by nearly 3,000 new acquisitions, according to its director Jon Bagues.

All of this material is available to the public through its website: www.eresbil.com, a tool that has long been used by many groups and choirs in the Diaspora.  The desired sheet music, file, or recording can be found and in some cases downloaded directly.  In other cases, the user can request it and Eresbil will make sure it is delivered.

The Archive provides a complete section of Basque sheet music that can be accessed from here.

According to its director, Jon Bagues, dissemination of Eresbil content over the internet and social networks continues to increase, having received 39,396 hits in 2011.  It is interesting to note that the majority of these hits, 53.7% (21,321), came from the United States, followed by Spain with29.49% (11,670).
