Villa María, Argentina. The Basque Cultural Week in Villa Maria, in the province of Cordoba, celebrated its 62nd edition November 27-December 1.  During the week, Euzko Etxea provided a variety of proposals, and as every year, they were warmly received by the public.  The program began with a talk about health, specifically about diabetes, by Dr. Nuria Rynoso. On Wednesday the 28th, there was a Mus and Truco tournament that was very well attended.  This year’s champions were Martin Barrenechea and Leonardo Negrini.

Thursday was food day and there was a workshop by Maria Luisa Ormazabal who taught those present how to make Merluza Puding and Rice pudding.

Music and dance were the focus of the last two days.  Ane Arandia Morgaetxebarria, who came expressly for the occasion from La Plata, taught a trikitixa workshop.

On Saturday the 1st, there was a choir performance and dinner closed the event with the participation of the club’s dancers.
