Sydney, Australia. The annual General Assembly of the Gure Txoko Basque Club in Sydney includes the election of the club’s officers at the event held on November 18th. The results included the reelection of the current president, Estefania Martino for another term and the board that accompanies her with Manny Martin as Vice-President, Jose Goikoetxea Treasurer and Aitor Aramburu Secretary.
Club sources told EuskalKultura.com that reelecting this team for its third term, two years in the case of directors, has the logic of “providing stability to the operation and management of the institution with it now entering its 53rd year since its foundation.”
The current board is comprised of the following:
-President: Estefania Martino
-Vice-president: Manu Martin
-Treasurer: Jose Goikoetxea
-Vice-Treasurer: Beñat Oliveira
-Secretary: Aitor Aramburu
-Vice-secretary: Izaskun de Allende
-Directors: Jagoba Landa and Jon Urrejola
