Bordeaux, France. Guadalupe has taught Basque dance classes at the Bordaleko Euskal Etxea for two years. Normally this would not be big news, except that she is 23 and is from Argentina. She is in Bordeaux pursuing a Masters in Agro-Sciences. According to Guadalupe, “I learned how to dance and love the Basque culture in Buenos Aires and when I arrived in Bordeaux I approached the Basque club to share this passion with the people there.”
At her courses and workshops, Guadalupe teaches dances like Mutxikoak, Fandango, Esku Dantzak, Arin Arin, and Makil Dantzak, to name a few. The course gather nearly a dozen students.
Guadalupe studied at the Euskal Echea School and during the year was a dantzari as part of the Ekin Kultur Taldea in Buenos Aires, directed by Aitor Alava.
