The libraries in Getxo, Bizkaia came to us with a request for writers originally from Getxo, or those who have a connection to Getxo in the Diaspora.  If you are one of those who have published some text in Basque, Spanish or any other language, send a copy of it to the library for this very special project.  The works can be narrative, drama, poetry, essays, stories, etc. 

Getxo, Bizkaia.   “If you are familiar with Ereaga, the Mill of Aixerrota, the orchards of Santa Maria and Aiboa, the Hanging Bridge, the narrow streets of Romo-Erromo and Bethlehem in Neguri….If you are from Getxo and you live abroad and have published some literary work in any language…contact us,” says the call from Getxo’s Town Hall and the Culture Department sent to EuskalKultura.com as well as to other social media.

Their search then is for writers from Getxo that live abroad and who have published literary works in any language.  These works can be of any type: narrative, drama, poetry, essays, stories, etc.
