The Euskaltegi will begin its 2015 course next Thursday, March 12, with an activity to begin addressing the Basque culture.  The workshop will run for three weeks to later link with the beginning of regular courses.  The number of courses and levels is large and enrollment is open from Tuesday March 3, every day from 11-2pm and 6pm-8pm, at the clubhouse.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.   Summer vacation is over and the Basque Language School in Buenos Aires is preparing to continue its work in diffusing the Basque language and culture with a varied program of activities provided to the community. Even if the pillar of the institution is language instruction, there will still be workshops on dance, music, song and a film series as well as other get-togethers.

Its first event, a workshop entitled “Getting to know the Basque Country Again,” will be taught in three sessions on March 12th, 19th and 27th at 7pm.  The goal, as explained to EuskalKultura.com but the instructors, is “to introduce the Basque culture based on elements of identity that are part of the Basque heritage, and in this way enter into the theme to begin our Basque classes.”  The workshop will be taught by club instructors and will address a different theme at each meeting.

Regular courses will begin on April 6th the majority of which will be taught at the Euskaltegi, located on Bernardo de Irigoyen 826, in the San Telmo neighborhood.  There will also be courses taught in Martinez (province of Buenos Aires) and also in Belgrano (CABA).
