Do you research the Basque Diaspora? The University of Nevada, Reno is offering an opportunity for a month-long research stay

Reno, NV, USA. The Etxepare Basque Institute and the University of Nevada, Reno have opened the call to select the visiting professor who will make a research trip to the aforementioned university as part of the Jon Bilbao Chair.  The research stay would be for one month and would take place between August and December 2019.  Eligible candidates need to have a Ph.D. and have experience in Basque Diaspora related topics, as well as not have had support from the Chair in the last four years.

The offer involves the Etxepare Basque Institutes as well as the William A. Douglass Center for Basque Studies and the Jon Bilbao Basque Library at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Previous occupant of the Chair was Dr. Pedro J. Oiarzabal, historian and researcher from Bilbao.

Deadline to apply is June 30, 2019.
