Caracas, Venezuela. On September 27 the Festival of San Antolin was held at the Eusko Etxea in Caracas, a tradition event there, remembering from afar the festivities in Lekeitio and its crowds, Goose Day. The Eusko Etxea has shared a series of photos of the day with us that we have been saving until our photo gallery was up and running.
The event started at noon, as Pedro Arriaga, club president explained to EuskalKultura.com. It was attended by a group of 30 people from the Basque club in Valencia, led by its president, Arrate Coscojuela. The atmosphere was great and members of both Basque clubs enjoyed a wonderful day with pelota matches and a delicious meal of marmitako and sardines.
