Asunción, Paraguay. Galo Egüez, Daniel Elicetche and Jose Mª Vargas Peña Apesteguia, current president of the Jasone Basque Club in the capital of Paraguay, welcomed Juan Pedro Arin, President of the Federation of Basque Institutions in Uruguay in the meeting room at the club’s facilities. At the event, representatives from the both Basque institutions chatted about news in the community in both countries as well as about initiatives that will be showcased at the Regional Meeting of Basque Clubs in Central and South America and the Caribbean on Friday, November 2nd in Mar del Plata, Argentina.
According to the club, Eddy Irigoitia will attend the meeting on its behalf. Remember that the regional meeting will be attended by Lehendakari Iñigo Urkullu and will be held one day before Semana Nacional Vasca 2018 that begins officially on Friday, November 2 at 8pm.
