A dance course in London beginning on July 3rd, organized by the local Basque club: you’re in time to enroll

Joining in the International Day of Euskera festivities in Trafalgar Square in London, invited by the London Basque Society Euskal Elkartea The London Basque Society Euskal Elkartea has announced a new dance course that will run for 9 weeks beginning on July 3rd.  Enrollment is open to youth and adults and classes will take place every Wednesday at the clubhouse Oxford House, from 5:45pm-6:45pm.  The schedule was set in regards to the availability of the hall.  Prior experience is not required and all dantzaris, experienced and not ...

The city of Venado Tuerto, in Argentina, named its Basque club “Lagunen artean” (among friends)

Board of directors at Lagunen Artean in Venado Tuerto The Basque community in Venado Tuerto, in the province of Santa Fe, has dedicated the last few years to building a Basque club.  Encouraged by a visit in 2018, by three youth from Navarre that visited the city during the month of October, and organized a Basque Week that provided the community workshops on dance, and Euskera, the community was encouraged to form its first board of directors.

Art workshop in Corpus Christi A team of Eusko Etxea in Corpus Christi began an art workshop last Saturday that will create graffiti murals.  The activity will include four session where attendees will learn about symbols and characteristic elements of the Basque culture as well as of Jesuit-Guarani, about composition and color arrangements, and on graffiti techniques.
