First soldier of the Women’s Corps, Cecilia Corcuera Berasategui, Colonel of the nursing Corps, Maria Rementeria Llona (courtesy Basque Museum, Boise), Air Force Colonel John Etchemendy, Marine Corps Felix Ordoquihandy EuskalKultura.eus and the Sancho de Beurko Association have agreed on a line of collaboration in hopes of sharing the results of the innovative research carried out by the Fighting Basques. Memory of the Second World War, with special emphasis on the United States, to which stories from the Basque front during the Spanish Civil War will be added.

The public health situation generated by COVID-19 is getting worse in Argentina, and although at times there has been some optimism regarding holding Semana Nacional November 15-22nd, and with the possibility that in the time until then, it will improve and normalize enough, looking at it responsibly now, everything seems to indicate that again this year’s celebration is in doubt.
