The Itxaropen Basque Club in Saladillo will plant an oak to honor the fallen in Malvinas and invites Basque clubs across the country to do the same

The Itxaropen Basque Club in Saladillo will plant an oak in honor of the fallen in Malvinas The initiative comes from local veteran, Guillermo Raul Ni Colo, and aims to honor the 649 fallen in the War of Malivnas by planting a tree for each of them.  The challenge is to reach this number of trees planted by April 2022 the month marking the 40th anniversary of one of the darkest and sad moments in Argentine history.
