2018 ENE Day of Euskera: new installment with images of festivities in Argentina, Mexico, Peru…

Donostia-San Sebastian. Migratory processes led to the Basques to the innermost points of the planet, creating echoes of Basque beyond its country’s geographical limits. Today new technologies help its diffusion and activities such as the International Day of the Basque Language that is enjoying an increase in participation and communities recognizing this day. In 2018, dozens of Basque clubs also celebrated Euskaraldia, assuring that the roles 'aho-bizi' (live mouth), and 'belarri prest' and 'bihotza prest' (willing ear and heart) exceeded the linguistic exercise becoming an attitude to incorporate into daily routines.

In a large number of Latin American festivities, the end of year celebrations also took placed along with the beginning of summer vacation creating double and triple celebrations.
