Marie Margaret Plaa was born March 27, 1932 to Bernard and Marie Sempe in Chino, CA and entered into rest on January 19, 2019. She was 86.

Marie was raised in Chino and graduated from Chino High School. She married Arnold Plaa in 1950.

She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold, her brother John Sempe, and her son Bernard Plaa. She is survived by her loving family; children, Suzanne (Gary) Wahl and Mike (Tami) Plaa, 21 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all the staff at St. Thomas Retirement Center which has been Marie's home since 2012. They are truly Angels that became important to Marie in every aspect of her life as friends, caregivers and spiritual companions.
