On June 23, 2018, the New England Basque Club held its inaugural “Basquefest” in New London, Connecticut. The Club’s biggest event to date took place on Parade Plaza, across from the ocean. From 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM, participants enjoyed Basque music, dance, sports, food and drink, thanks to collaborations with other Basque clubs, musicians, chefs, and local merchants.
Andrea Jones Berasaluze
Andrea Jones Berasaluze was born and lives in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, the daughter of a Basque mother and a Bostonian father. She is an active member of the New England Basque Club.
